Greenleaf & Blueberry Professional Handmade Watercolors: Gravity Wash Swatches
Gravity Wash swatches for each of our colors are listed here. Gravity Wash swatches are made by pre-wetting watercolor paper, then holding it at a steep vertical angle and brushing color across the top from left to right. The pigment flows downward over the wet paper. Gravity Washes reveal a color's tendency to granulate, variegate, it range of pigment particle sizes, and tinting strength.
