Pencil Bouquet
Greenleaf & Blueberry
There is a line from the 1998 movie You've Got Mail starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan where Tom Hanks says, "Don't you love New York in the fall? Makes me want to buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address."
That line is my favorite part of the movie and has always stuck with me as a delightful and romantic notion. I have also been something of a pencil collector for more years than I'd like to admit now. And now and then I have enjoyed gifting a bouquet of pencils, such as to the book shop owner down the street.
So, this idea came together quite naturally, and indeed rather gleefully!
It is a collection of 17 new and vintage pencils and includes many of my personal all-time favorites, such as the Berol Eagle Jeans pencil (made out of recycled blue jeans), the Duncan Shotton Rainbow Pencil (peeking out at the right), the vintage Black Warrior pencil, General's Cedar Pointe, and so many more.
Freshly sharpened, emanating the intoxicating aroma of cedar and graphite. For your lover, buddy, family member, or owner of your local bookshop.
Hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
